Amy Locke

Amy Locke is a family physician with additional training in integrative medicine. She splits her time between Wellness and Integrative Health and the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine.  She co-directs the University of Utah Health Resiliency Center, directs the School of Medicine Pathway in Health Promotion and Integrative Health, as well as an interdisciplinary Culinary Medicine course. Her research, educational, and clinical interests center around nutrition, health behavior change, professional burnout, and prevention of disease through lifestyle.  She is interested in ways to improve wellbeing, including ways to reduce pain and dependence on opiates using non-pharmacologic methods.  She is interested in collaboration with the arts in the areas of pain reduction, improved employee health, and chronic disease prevention and treatment.
